Erytrol agar is used for the production of Brucella. The medium is a nutrient medium which provides bacteria with all the necessary nutrients. In addition, thiamine and Eritrea act as a growth factor for Brucella. In laboratory practice, it is possible to add various antibiotics to provide the selective medium properties.
